Lunch and Afterschool Workshops at Art Mix
We will be teaching our same exciting curriculum: drawing, painting, sculpting, and more, and traveling around the world for inspiration! We have renamed our classes to “Workshops” just like our Saturday "Workshops," for children of all ages to enjoy Monday through Friday!
Lunch Workshops:
Days & Times: Monday - Friday, 12:00 - 2:00pm*
Tuition: $40.00 (*Workshop + Pop-in together)
Ages: 3 and up!
Afterschool Workshops:
Days & Times: Monday - Friday, 3:30 - 5:00pm
Tuition: $30.00
Ages: Age-appropriate projects will be featured each week for each age group:
3-5, 6-9, and 10-13.
Registration:
- Flexible Schedule: Come once per week, any day, Monday-Friday! If a student misses a Workshop, they can come to another Workshop, Monday-Friday, 3:30-5:00pm, or Monday or Wednesday, 5:00-6:30pm.
- Students can register for a group of Workshops, or for the whole 10-week long semester.*
- *Students who register for the whole 10-week long semester will receive 10 complimentary 1-hour visits to our Pop-In Studios!
Our teachers will maintain a comfortable creative environment for the children, which will focus on helping each student build and develop their fine motor skills, learn new techniques, creative problem solving skills and spark their imaginations!

Art Mix's 7th Annual Summer Camp!
May 21st - August 24th. Register for the whole week or by the day.
Each week, students will enjoy hours of creative fun as they make masterpieces inspired by artists from all around the world! Students will build their skills as they learn new drawing, painting, sculpting, collage and mixed media techniques each week in Art Mix camp!
Students: age 3-13 (older, art-loving students are always welcome!)
- Morning Camp: 9:00am - 12:00pm: $60.00/day or $250.00 for the week, Monday-Friday
- Lunch Workshop: 12:00 - 2:00pm, $30.00/day when added to morning camp (Creative Combo); $40.00/day Monday-Friday (without morning camp)
- Creative Combo: Morning Camp + Lunch Workshop together: $80.00/day or $400.00 week, Monday-Friday
- Early Bird: 8:15 - 8:45am, Monday-Friday: $15.00/day
- Pop-In Lunch: 12:00 - 1:00pm, Monday-Friday: $15.00 (reserved for morning campers only)
- Crafternoons, 1:00 - 5:00pm, and may be added onto Morning Camp and/or Lunch Workshop: $20.00/hour.
Art Mix Camp Policies and Procedures:
1. For all students who join our Lunch Workshop or Pop-In Lunch, please pack a nut-free lunch!
2. Morning Camp (9:00am-12:00pm) registration is by-the-week. For registration by the day, please call Art Mix, 713.552.9028, to check availability and to register.
3. If you are not able to pick up your child by 12:15pm, following morning camp, your child will be placed in our Pop-In Studios for creative fun! The cost will be $8.00/half-hour and $15.00/hour.
4. Cancellation Policy:
a. $50.00 non-refundable fee for cancellation once summer camp begins (May 21, 2012).
b. Once summer begins, May 21st, a credit will be placed on your Art Mix account for any registration changes.
5. Illness: Please call Art Mix if your child needs to miss camp due to illness, and a credit will be placed on your Art Mix account for use in our camps and programs.
6. Credits for missed camps expire December 31, 2012.

“Paint with Me” Classes are designed for 2-year old artists to bring a grown-up along, to participate in class with them! Classes will begin with wonderful children’s picture story books that relate to the artist, medium or theme of our art projects. Classes are kept small with four to six children per class. Students develop their imagination as well as their fine and gross motor skills, as they create fun art projects including drawing, painting, collage and more!
- Minimum of 3 students is required to begin a new class.
- Days & Times: Monday - Friday, 10:00 - 11:00am, 3:30 - 4:30pm.
NEW! Saturday, 10:00 - 11:00am, 11:00am - 12:00pm.
- Tuition: $35.00/class. Offered weekly Fall, Winter and Spring semesters.

Classes for Children with Special Needs
If you would like to arrange an individual or small group class for a child or children with special needs, please contact Art Mix directly, 713.552.9028 or contact@artmixlearning.com. Our talented and nurturing teachers have developed an exciting, multi-sensory curriculum for children to develop their skills and their imagination.
Private Lessons
Private lessons are available for students who would like one on one instruction with an Art Mix teacher. Students may work on an individual art project or a school-related project. The cost for private lessons is $30.00 per half-hour, $50.00/hour. Siblings: additional $30.00/hour.
Pop-in Studios
Calling all artists who want to paint, draw, make collages, or build a clever sculpture of your very own, on your own time, at your own pace…the Pop-In Studios at Art Mix are designed just for you!
Pop-in for hours of creative fun! Artists can come paint, draw, collage, bead, sculpt and more! A member of our staff will be on hand to observe your child, assist with art supplies and project ideas.
Stress-Free School Class Projects! Children can complete their School Class Projects at Art Mix. Bring your school assignment and project ideas with you, and Art Mix staff can help your child complete the creative components of their class projects, including "All About Me," Earth Day Posters, Recycled Art Projects, International Day, Science Fair and more!! |

 Saturday Workshops and Hours
Every Saturday at Art Mix we will feature one, art-filled Workshop! Students can join us for 3 hours of creative fun as they build their artistic skills, learn new drawing, painting, and sculpting techniques, and make incredible works of art!
In keeping with the Art Mix curriculum, every Saturday students will learn about artists from a new destination, whose art and techniques will be the inspiration for the workshop. Our teachers will provide skill level-appropriate projects for students, from beginners to advanced artists, so that each student can make masterpieces of their own!
