artmix is the perfect place to host fun one-of-a kind art parties for any occasion, including birthday and class parties, holiday parties, indian princess parties; daisy, webelos, brownie or scout badges parties, and more!  our team will work with you to plan two hours of creative fun for all of your guests!  hosts can choose from our collection of masterpieces inspired by artists from around the world for the art projects for their party.

to be sure you are able to have your choice of your party date and time, we recommend that you reserve your party date and time at least three weeks in advance of your celebration.

 

party planning guide:  

summer availability

friday parties: may be scheduled between 4:00am and 6:00pm. artmix requires a minimum of 8 participating artists, and a maximum of 25 participating artists.

saturday parties: may be scheduled for a two hour window between 9:00am and 6:00pm. artmix requires a minimum of 8 participating artists, and a maximum of 25 participating artists.

 

Step 1:  Reservations: Please call us to reserve your party date and time, 713.552.9028. Our team will work with you to help you select one of our party packages and review our party fees.  The party planning fee for your party will be collected at this time.  The guest fees will be collected one week in advance of your party date.

Step 2: Party Planning: We welcome and encourage hosts to visit our studio to meet our team and plan your party.  We will give you a tour of  artmiand determine which of our studios will be the best fit for your party.  Next, you can choose your party projects from our collection of masterpieces inspired by themes and artists from around the world. We are happy to send you pictures of party project samples, if you are not able to visit our studio.

Step 3: Day of your Party:  Hosts may come in 30 minutes prior to their event to set up food, beverages and decorations for the party.  When your guests arrive, our team will welcome everyone into the studio, and guide the children through the art projects. We will reserve 20-30 minutes for you to serve for food, cake and refreshments.  At the conclusion of your party, your child and their friends will take home their masterpieces in a party bag!

 

party planning policies:  

party pricing policy: we will contact you within 5 days of the date of your party to finalize all of the details of your event. at this time, your account will be charged for the number of guests  that you confirm with us.  we will not refund your account for guests that do attend your party, so please be sure to reach out to all of your guests in advance to confirm their attendance.  if you have additional day of guests, artmix will charge your account at the conclusion of your event.

cancellation policy: If you need to cancel your party, artmix will work with you to schedule your party for another date and time. If you are unable to reschedule your party, your guest fees may be used towards other artmix programs within 6 months of your original party date.

pop-in for party guest's siblings:  if your party guests bring their siblings along to artmix, they are welcome to enjoy creative time in our pop-in studios and then join your party for cake and celebration! either the party host or the child's parents can cover the pop-in fee, $15.00 for children up to 3 years old, and $20.00 per hour for children ages 3-9 years old.

Cost:

parties during our regular business hours: a $100.00 non-refundable party planning fee, plus $30.00 per participating artist.  

private parties: a $150.00 non-refundable private party planning fee, plus $35.00 per participating artist.

*There is a $75.00 fee for parties that go 15 over the party end time.

artmix party projects:  

party host can select a party project based on a theme or project from our collection of masterpieces inspired by artists from around the world.

ages 2-7:

artmix teachers will lead the children, step-by-step, through the process of making a masterpiece based on a theme (garden party, under the sea, dinosaurs on the prowl,  or outer space), or by a master artist, including Vincent Van Gogh, Jasper Johns, Wayne Thiebaud and many more!  Each child will go home with a beautiful masterpiece on a canvas board in a party bag.

for parties for children 8 and up: guests will be seated in artmixstudio, with a table easel, a 12×12″ canvas, paint brushes and all of the supplies they will need to complete their painting.  our team will lead the children through the process of creating a colorful, artist-inspired masterpiece on their canvas.  we will reserve time for you to serve for food, cake and refreshments.

party project themes:  party hosts  can visit our studio and work with our staff to choose a party project inspired by and artist from around the world.  artists including:  Wayne Theibaud, Jasper Johns, Takashi Murakami, Charley Harper, Nancy Standlee, Georgia O’Keefe, and many more!  canvas painting parties are best for smaller groups of up to 20 guests.

 

Cost: 

parties scheduled during our regular business hours: A $100.00 non-refundable party planning fee is required to reserve your party date and time.  $40.00 per artist guest fee for a two-hour party, and $50.00 per artist guest fee for a three-hour party.

private parties: A $150.00 non-refundable party planning fee is required to reserve your party date and time.  $45.00 per artist for a two-hour party, and $55.00 per artist guest fee for a three-hour party.

$75 fee for parties that go 15 minutes over the scheduled party end time.

customparties:

custom designed party projects include art inspired by movies, disney characters, as well as more advanced projects inspired by artists. our team will work with you to create a masterpiece for your guests to enjoy!

a $50.00 project development fee is required in addition to our standard party prices.

parties on the go: 2-hour parties hosted in your home or party location:

artmix is happy to come to your home or party location to provide creative fun for all of your guests!  We will provide the staff, set up and clean up, and teach all of the party projects.

Cost: 

parties scheduled during our regular business hours: $100.00 non-refundable party planning fee is required to reserve your party date and time during regular business hours. $35.00 per artist guest fee, for participating children and adults.*

parties scheduled after hours: A $150.00 non-refundable party planning fee is required to reserve your private party.  This fee goes towards all of the project preparation,  and the complete set-up and clean-up of your party. $40.00 per artist, for participating children and adults.*

*travel fee: A $100.00 travel fee is required.

artmix is happy to welcome your troop to our studio to earn your art badges!  Our team will organize a 2-hour art party with your troop leader to plan a collection of up to 4-5 activities so that all of your troop members can meet the requirements to earn their  badge!

badge projects include: drawing, mixed media projects, painting, collage, jewelry, and sculpture.

Cost: 

party planning fee: A $100.00 non-refundable party planning fee is required to reserve your party date and time.

at artmix$25.00 per artist guest fee.

on-the-go: $30.00 for parties at your school, home or other party location. an additional $100.00 travel fee is required.

party space rental:  

private party space rental:  Party hosts are welcome to rent studio space for parties, showers, girl’s night’s out, corporate events, charitable events, workshops and more! 

regular business party availability:  Tuesday through Saturday: 10:00am-6:00pm.

private party availability:  Monday through Saturday: 3:00pm-10:00pm. Sundays, 10:00am-10:00pm.

  • Food service: food and beverage items, including catering services are permitted.
  • Alcohol: is permitted during Private party hours only and waivers must be signed by each guest
  • Space Set-Up: Host will work with our staff to determine party needs and the party set-up in advance.
  • Decorations: hosts are welcome to bring in and set up any decorations they would like.
  • Staff: Includes 2 staff members to assist with party set up, managing and clean up. Each additional staff member: $50.00/2-hour event.
  • Cancellation policy: If you need to cancel your party, artmiwill work with you to schedule your party. If you are not able to reschedule your party, only your $200.00 party planning fee will be retained.

Cost: 

regular hours party planning fee: $150.00 party planning fee  is required in order to reserve your date and time. The balance must be completed one-week prior to your event date and time. This fee goes towards the complete set-up and clean-up of your party.

2-hour parties:  $400.00 ($200.00/hour).

3-hour parties:  $600.00 ($200.00/hour).

private party planning fee: $200.00 party planning fee  is required in order to reserve your date and time. The balance must be completed one-week prior to your event date and time. This fee goes towards the complete set-up and clean-up of your party.

2-hour private parties: $500.00 ($250.00/hour).

3-hour parties:  $750.00 ($250.00/hour).
